My creepy english doesn’t motivate me much to write, so this english blog doesn’t have much updates. Sadly.

But I’m not going to forget it. I’m less active on the internet too, which is also a reason I don’t put much on it.

I’m going to update the website soon, with some pictures from 2011, I don’t think I have them all on my computer, but at least I can put some online. I’ve begun doing airbrush, so it would be kind of nice to have som airbrush pictures in my gallery. Tough thy are all kinda hughe (A2 or more for some) so difficult to scan….

Yep, I’m not dead, you see.
In fact, I’m convinced I’ll dream about books tonight. Dunno why…

Recently, I went to the cinema. Inception was a nice film, with an interesting story, nice filming an action. But, as so often, I didn’t like the overdose of futile action and explosions all around. Moreover that the story had a lot of room to make something really interesting. So why just do all this shooting, bing bang boom thing ? I just don’t get it. The other thing I didn’t like was the fact that the dreams were quite too realistic. If you decide to explore the dreams, I think its the best way to really let go your imagination and invent a lot of surrealistic and impossible things. Because it’s a dream, isn’t it ? But Inception didn’t go far enough in that way even if there were some nice things.

Nevertheless it is a really good film worth seeing ! One of the best films I’ve seen lately.

I’m at the end of the Farseer Trilogy from Robin Hobb.

It’s just one of the best fantasy books I’ve read so far. There are so much fantasy books out there, but few are well written, original and interesting. Robin Hobb’s books are one of those who are. I’ve never had so much pleasure reading English. And it has been a long time sine I’ve read a whole book in a day. You don’t read Robin Hobb when you’ve time, but you take the time to read Robin Hobb.

Wondering while there is no update on my website for the moment ? Well, I haven’t drawn for a long time now, but I hope I’ll be able to in not so long. Well, I guess the doc will tell me that tomorrow with a bit of chance. Hu, well…

I was playing recently Final Fantasy XIII

I’ve… succeeded to do 45 hours of game before putting it back in the box.
I’m not going to say that it is a bad game….
But it surely isn’t what I’m looking for in an “RPG Game”.

I’m frustrated with J-RPG games in general nowadays, the most are really annoying and boring, so I was hopping that this Final Fantasy would change a bit, but no, it is even worse. You cannot call that RPG at all. What J-RPG need nowadays is innovation, not… “taking things away”.

I had really the feeling Square-Enix was so affraid of the player, that the only thing he gets to do is only battle and suffer the story. But just don’t let him interfere with anything…. Gosh, RPG, hello ?

Hm… the perfect example of an perfect RPG is Oblivion for me. Final Fantasy XIII couldn’t be more far away from it.

Maybe one day, I’ll finish it…. one day… and the only reason I’ll do it, it’s because I’ve told myself that I’m going to finish that game… But yeah, the narration of the story is quite good… really good even. And the graphic is gorgeous… Hm…

Good narration, nice graphics ? Well, if I want only that, I’m going to look a film/animation or other… but sureley not buy a video game.

No better occasion to make some money, don’t you think ? So here some photos !

Guess, that’s all. I wasn’t really hunting cosplays, must say. There were a Phoenix Wright group, which  was nice (and Link managed to take a photo of Klavier playing Guitar Hero….) and a Fire Emblen group… and lots of Pikachus and of course a Jack Sparrow.

Hm well, I don’t like conventions that much I must say… Guess I’m not otaku enough to really enjoy such things.I passed most of the time at our stand, afar from all the crazy geeks and otakus and the free hugs. But I had a nice chat with one of the Hetalia group, and Hong Kong desserts really are good… and We have made plenty of money, that’s nice too. Was a nice experience after all.

And I’ve bought a Yoshi plushie ^__^ (and forgotten to buy a Chocobo )

This week-end, I’ve seen a french children film : “Kerity, la maison des contes”.

The story was nice, the animation gorgeous.
It’s a beautiful children film, I recommend it (it changes from all the creepy cartoons and films they do for the children nowadays… *sigh*)

And I LOVE the work of Rebecca Dautremer, just for that you’ve to see the film, or some of her books.
